ScienceDaily (2011-09-23) -- Researchers have turned back the clock on mature muscle tissue, coaxing it back to an earlier stem cell stage to form new muscle. Moreover, they showed in mice that the newly reprogrammed muscle stem cells could be used to help repair damaged tissue. The research could lead to new treatments to combat muscle degeneration.
It is good there might be a cure for some diseases. I think this can help the elderly that will be working in the workforce past their retirement age to be as fit as they were 20 years ago. Of course, they have to exercise and eat right.
